La Famiglia !
Once we got our car off the Auto Train, we immediately headed south to Ft. Lauderdate to spend some time at "Mugherini South". It was about a 3 hour drive from the Sanford/Orlando area but it was a pretty easy drive and it was a beautiful day. When we arrived at Susan's house, David was in the shop to greet us. He was busy sodering some parts to the control of his remote control car. He's so grown up and such a handsome kid. I'm sure the girls love him!! It was really great to see him when we arrived.
Next, we headed off to Bernice and Frank's condo. We didn't know how to get there from the Clark's house so we followed Susan. It was so good to see Frank and Bernice. They have a nice condo on the second floor that overlooks the swimming pool and the golf course. There's a porch off the living room. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy your morning coffee. One afternoon, the four of us had a nice leisurely lunch together on that porch. It was very special.
On Saturday night, we all got together at the condo for supper. After dinner, Gramma and Joseph played some cards together. They played 'war'. But somehow, Joseph always seemed to win.......???
While Gramma and Joseph played cards, Scot and Jonathan horsed around together.
Susan gave Johnny a big huge for helping in the kitchen after supper.
Grampa sat back and enjoyed the whole night!
Later in the evening, Neal and Frank worked together on their computers.
On Sunday night, we decided to have an "adults night out" dinner. So we all got changed and headed out. Bernice and Frank were all ready to go!
Scot was ready and wating to go, too.
I was busy gabbing away......
Scot and Susan made dinner reservations at a nice little Italian restaurant. While the food was outstanding, what was most surprising was that our waiter was an opera singer. He had an amazing voice and sang for us. It was a really wonderful evening. Everyone had a great time being together.
